Opening Credits Analysis - Dead pool
This is the first shot we see in the opening to Deadpool. It is showing the ident for the production company. This has been shown first to inform the audience as to who produced and helped with funding, casting, etc for this film.
This is the second shot to be shown on the Deadpool opening credits.
This shows the audience who produced the film and tells us it is based off of a comic.

In the next shot we can see a close up of man who looks as if he's screaming. We can also see 'twentieth century fox presents' on here slightly to the left. The font is in all caps, white and bold. This has been done to make it stand out so people aren't just looking at the man screaming. We can just about see the man's forehead has been burnt by a cigarette lighter in the car.
In this next scene we can see a close up of a hand holding a gun in a car, with the glass smashed. This screams action thriller as a sub-genre with props of guns and car crashes. The font is the same as the previous shot, white and bold to stand out from the busy background. We can see some comedy being used straight away in the titles by saying ' some douche's films'. This suggests it has a lot of comedy in to make the audience laugh, also hinting at its genre.
