Summer Work task 2

This scene is a mid shot, showing the actor and his surroundings. We can see a man standing on a street  in Gotham besides a road with a duffel bag and clown mask. The angle he is standing only allows us to see the back of him. This prevents the audience from knowing who he is, building tension. The two props used in this scene suggest the man is up to no good. The clown mask  proposes he doesn't want to be seen by the public or security cameras and the duffel bag indicates possible weapons or simply a place to carry stolen goods. He is also wearing quite dark clothes which may be another tactic for staying unseen.
This scene is a over the shoulder mid shot, showing the inside of the car. In this scene we can see three men in a car,the two in the front seem to be talking to each other whereas the man in the back is busy loading a gun. All three of the men are wearing clown masks preventing the audience from knowing their Identity. The gun is a definite sign that they're up to no good and suggests whatever they are doing is happening soon. They are all wearing dark suits which is unusual for a heist or robbery. This can bring more interest from the audience as to why they are wearing suits, this may even suggest this type of thing is their profession.

This scene is a tracking mid shot, following the men from the car to the entrance of the building. In this specific scene we can see the men look around to make sure no one is looking before they run in. The man at the front of the shot has a duffel bag and a gun in one hand. His head is slightly lifted so we can see him looking over the car. It has now become more clear that they are wearing suits telling us that they are used to this type of ‘heist’ and so suggesting it is their jobs.

This scene is a tracking mid shot continued on from the previous screenshot. We can see the men running into the building like they're rushing. We can see they are still wearing the clown masks and by the way they are rushing into the building, they don't want anyone to see them. The fact that we haven’t seen their faces yet creates tension and leaves the audience questioning who they are and what they are doing. The building looks well built and suggests it could be worth a lot of money.
This scene is a close up shot showing one the men drilling the banks safe. We can see man, still with a clown mask and duffel bag, holding a drill and drilling into the bank's safe. This scene gives us information as to why they have their faces covered and duffel bags. The tool being used to drill open the door, shows the men have experience with this type of thing and suggests once again that it is their profession. The scene is also shot with little light which can represent menacing, this shows exactly what the men are doing.
