A view of audience and asking question, the main purpose is to learn opinions of public.

‘Voice of the people or man on the street’

What makes an effective Vox pop? (Watched a Vox pop example)

A variety of different people, changing age and ethnicity.

Make it casual and not too awkward, you don’t hear the interviewer at all. The question is presented in the title either at the start or end.

The person has to be slightly off centred, following the rule of thirds. Interviewer is off screen and so the person being interviewed is looking towards the side.

Name, age and job of each person introduced is shown on the screen.

Each person wasn’t on screen for long to get to the point (3-5 seconds). Multiple questions and shown people at different times so you get a variety.
